Overview
Orbital is a strategy game of gravity and territory. You launch your ships into orbit around a small star system, and the player with the most planets when the dust settles wins.
How it plays
On each turn you set an angle and power for a launch, then watch the gravity of the sun and planets bend its path. Ships that settle into orbit around a planet claim it. Your opponent is doing the same thing, and a well-aimed ship can knock theirs loose.
What makes it fun
- Physics you can feel. Slingshotting around a planet into the perfect orbit is deeply satisfying.
- Readable strategy. Every planet you hold is visible, so each turn is a clear decision.
- Comebacks happen. One great shot can flip the whole system.
How to play
- Drag from your launch pad to set the direction and power.
- Release to launch, and watch the predicted path bend with gravity.
- Settle into orbit around a planet to claim it, or bump a rival ship out of its orbit.
- When all turns are used, whoever holds the most planets wins.
Controls
- Touch: drag from the launch pad and release
- Mouse / keyboard: click and drag to aim, release to launch
Tip: Short, gentle launches are easier to control. Save full-power shots for when you really need them.
