Overview
The Code is a quick code-breaking puzzle. There's a hidden sequence of colours, and you have a few guesses to crack it.
How it plays
Make a guess and you'll get clues back: one mark for each colour in the right spot, and another for each right colour in the wrong spot. Each guess narrows the possibilities until you can name the answer. The code is new every day.
What makes it fun
- Pure deduction. No luck required. Every clue gets you closer.
- The final reveal. Getting it right with your last guess is a rush.
- Three minutes a day. It's a perfect coffee-break puzzle.
How to play
- Pick a colour for each slot and submit your guess.
- Read the clues: a filled mark means right colour, right spot, and a hollow mark means right colour, wrong spot.
- Use the clues to rule out options and make a better guess.
- Crack the code before you run out of guesses.

- Touch: tap a slot, then tap a colour
- Mouse / keyboard: click to choose colours; Enter submits
Tip: Make your first guess with as many different colours as you can. It tells you the most about the code.
